Host is not in compliance with the attached profile

I have a host in a cluster that is reporting the following configuration issue:

Host is not in compliance with the attached profile

When clicking the link in the General section of the Summary page it provides the following detail:

The options Syslog.global.logDir have been changed from their expected default values

Upon checking the Advanced Settings for this VM I could see that somebody had manually changed the value for the Syslog.global.logDir option during some testing and not changed it back.

The fix for this was simple – reapply the compliance profile to the VM!
