Add a new VMware server to Veeam Backup & Replication Free 7.0

Now that I have installed Veeam Backup & Replication 7.0 I need to add the ESX host that contains the VMs.  It’s just a few simple steps…

1. Open Veeam Backup & Replication Free Edition

2. Right-click VMware vSphere and select Add Server

3. Enter the server name (or IP address) and description then click Next

4. Click Add, specify credentials to access the ESX host or vCenter server and click OK.  Click Next

5. Click Finish

The server is now displayed in the Infrastructure view and the VMs are available to backup.
