Configuring virtual machine startup and shutdown

I have just discovered that I am able to configure virtual machines to automatically power on when ESXi starts up.  This can be very useful if I reboot the ESXi server and have several virtual machines to bring back up.

These options can be found in Configuration –> Virtual Machine Startup/Shutdown.  Click Properties, select the VM to configure for automatic startup then click the Move Up button.  You can choose the startup order and delay for each VM.

The startup delay can be particularly useful for servers that need to be up before others, such as Domain Controllers or SQL servers.
